Meter Provers for Mass Proving
Flow MD offers mass meter prover options for custody transfer applications using Coriolis flow meters. To do this, we modify the existing small volume prover for mass-proving applications with a measurement kit added at the factory. The kit includes a Coriolis meter and other accessories that allow the prover to output your measurement value in mass. FMD mass meter provers are ideal for applications that require mass measurement. FMD small volume provers with a mass proving kit are frequently used to prove Coriolis meters, as well as lighter hydrocarbon fluid applications that are typically measured and transacted in mass. Using this in-situ measurement method provides less uncertainty than other methods. FMD SVPs ensure accurate and repeatable proving performance and are compatible with most hydrocarbon products.
