Turndown
1200:1Turndown is typical of normal operations. Turndown ratio can vary significantly depending on installation and process conditions. Actual turndown may be much greater than 1200:1 in some conditions such as water draw, or much less in high pressure, dry product applications such as NGL service.

FMD’s latest edition to the proving family is the state-of-the-art FMD-200-EV50 small volume prover. This meter prover is designed specifically for proving manufactured pulse meters such as Coriolis, ultrasonic and helical turbine meters. With a 50% greater volume capacity, at 210 gallons compared to 140 gallons for the standard FMD-200, the EV50 allows for larger sample sizes and extended flight times making it the ideal choice for proving manufactured pulse meters.

As with all FMD provers, the FMD-200-EV50 exceeds the accuracy standards required by API MPMS Chapter 4 and delivers best-in-class performance. This advanced meter prover provides 20″ ANSI flanges, 2″ drains/vents and ports for verifying pressure and temperature. Flow MDs small volume provers provide exceptional performance, quality, and field durability, making the FMD200-EV50 an exceptional choice for all of your proving applications.
